Gallery license

1. What you can do with gallery sprites
Every sprite in the public gallery is free to download and use in personal and non-commercial projects, such as a prototype, a game jam, school work or a video.
You can edit, recolour, resize and animate them. A credit to Sprite AI is welcome but not required.
2. Selling a game or product
To use a sprite in a game or product you sell, make your own with Sprite AI on a paid plan. Every paid plan includes a full commercial license for the sprites you generate, and that license stays in place after your subscription ends.
Your commercial license covers the sprites you generate, not sprites other people made. To get a version of a gallery sprite you can sell, open it and use Try this prompt to make your own.
If you made a gallery sprite yourself, the Terms of Service apply to it, not this page.
3. Characters and brands owned by others
Gallery sprites are made by Sprite AI users. Sprite AI does not review them before they appear and does not own them.
Some sprites show characters, logos or brands that belong to someone else. This license does not include those rights, which stay with their owners. Check before you use such a sprite anywhere public.
Sprites are provided as they are, with no promise that they are free of other people's rights.
4. Report a sprite
If a sprite copies your work or your brand without permission, email james@sprite-ai.art with the sprite's link and what it copies. We remove sprites that infringe and forward copyright notices to the person who published the sprite.
