Master the art of AI sprite generation with our guides and tips.
The art of effective prompting
The key to great sprites is in the details. Our AI responds best to specific, descriptive prompts.
Vague prompt
"a knight"
Generic, boring result
Detailed prompt
"medieval knight with silver armor, red cape, holding sword and shield, side view, fantasy RPG style"
Specific, detailed result
The perfect prompt formula
Subject
What are you creating? (sword, character, potion, etc.)
Style & era
Medieval, sci-fi, fantasy, modern, etc.
Visual details
Colors, materials, decorations, special features
Perspective & size
Side view, top-down, 16×16, 32×32, etc.
Be specific about pose and viewing angle: "front view standing", "side view walking", "3/4 view attacking"
Pro tips for better results
Choose the right size
128×128 is our highest quality size—generates the most detailed and crisp sprites. Generate at 128×128 and scale down for better quality than generating small directly.
Size recommendations
16×16 for icons, 32×32 for items, 64×64 for characters, 128×128 for detailed heroes or bosses.
Iterate and refine
Don't expect perfect results on the first try. Refine your prompts based on what you get, and try variations.
